Scyrox has introduced its V12 gaming mouse family, expanding its lineup with two lightweight models aimed at competitive PC gaming. The V12M and V12L combine translucent shells with high polling rates and a distinctive wireless receiver. The November 2 report from Geeknetic identifies the products as officially presented, with listings already appearing on the manufacturer's website.
The smaller V12M measures 122 by 58 by 38 millimeters and has a specified weight of 49 grams, with a three-gram tolerance. The larger V12L measures 126 by 59 by 40 millimeters and weighs approximately 51 grams under the same tolerance. Scyrox uses symmetrical bodies with gently raised central sections, offering different sizes for players with different hand dimensions and grip preferences.
Both standard models are reported to use a PixArt PAW Next I optical sensor and a Nordic 54H20 microcontroller. Their advertised polling rate reaches 8,000Hz through supported wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections. The hardware package also includes Kailh optical main switches rated for 100 million actuations, a magnetic scroll-wheel encoder, and a 250mAh battery.
One of the more unusual accessories is Scyrox's Halo Interactive receiver. Instead of functioning solely as a wireless connection point, the receiver incorporates RGB indicators for information including battery level, active DPI settings, polling rate, and button activity. Scyrox also provides browser-based configuration tools for button assignments and sensor-related settings.
The manufacturer's product listing shows multiple V12 variants and an out-of-stock status for the selected configuration examined during this search. Geeknetic reported a European starting price of €67.05, although the manufacturer's live page displayed a different US-dollar price for a selected Ultra variant. Those amounts should not be treated as interchangeable model prices. The announcement establishes the product lineup, but independent measurements of latency, battery life, and tracking accuracy remain necessary.
