Gaming peripheral manufacturer 8BitDo has opened pre-orders for the Arcade Controller Pro, its flagship leverless fight stick tailored specifically for competitive fighting game players. Priced at $119.99, the new controller begins worldwide shipping on November 30.
Departing from traditional joystick ball-tops in favor of an all-button directional cluster, the Arcade Controller Pro incorporates smaller Kailh low-profile mechanical switches with tighter spacing to facilitate rapid finger transitions during execution-heavy tournament play. 8BitDo has also embedded supplementary programmable macro buttons along the top chassis for quick menu navigation and training mode resets.
A key addition is an integrated 1.47-inch OLED display positioned above the main button cluster. The screen visualizes real-time input telemetry, monitors polling latency, and lets players customize button mapping and RGB backlighting directly on hardware without installing desktop software.
The chassis features an ergonomically contoured magnetic wrist rest that opens to store five interchangeable switch caps for tactile customization. Powered by an upgraded 3,000mAh lithium-ion battery that recharges in four hours, the controller supports Bluetooth, low-latency 2.4GHz wireless via an included dongle, and wired USB-C across Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and Android.
